I shot an assortment of still photos of the various signs at the Seattle Tea Party today. It has now been one year since we started to awaken the general populace to the threats to their liberty that have been brewing in Washington D.C. Thus far, if the enthusiasm of the participants has begun to subside in ANY meaningful way, I have not been a witness to it. Everyone in attendance seemed more committed than ever before. If I was an incumbent in the U.S. House of Representatives, or a Senator that's up for election in 2010, I would be afraid. Yes, that's right, I would be VERY afraid.
Although the turnout for this Tea Party event did not quite reach the same levels as last summer's congressional recess rally, I don't think that anyone was either surprised or disappointed by the attendance levels. After all, it IS February, and the weather that we were treated to was perfectly abysmal. It rained on us for nearly the entire two hour rally. No matter. In the spirit of all of us hardy individuals who live in the Puget Sound Region of Washington state, let me be the first to say, "Rain? What rain?" Click on any one of the photos below to see an ENLARGED image. Enjoy.
